IPAF Self-Propelled Boom 3b Course Details

Duration:
The IPAF Operator training course for Self-Propelled Boom 3b is a 1-day program, typically running from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Please note that the Scissor Lift 3a course can also be taken on the same day. For more details, refer to our IPAF 3a & 3b course listed in the Course List.
On-Site Training:
We also offer on-site training at your premises throughout the UK and Ireland, subject to minimum participant numbers. A suitable room is required for the theory portion, along with a Self-Propelled Boom for the practical sessions. Each participant must provide a current Certificate of Thorough Examination (issued within the last 6 months) for the Self-Propelled Boom.
Certification
Successful delegates will receive:
- An IPAF PAL Card valid for 5 years
- An IPAF Certificate of Training
- An IPAF Safety Guide
- An IPAF Log Book
Photographs for the operator card will be taken on-site and are included in the course fee.
Trainee Requirements
- Candidates must be at least 16 years old and medically fit to operate machinery.
PPE Requirements
Trainees are required to provide appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including:
- Hard Hat
- Safety Boots
- Hi-Visibility Vest
- Harness & Lanyard
