The aim of the NPORS Vehicle Banksman Training Course is to provide delegates with the basic knowledge and practical skills involved in operating as a Vehicle Banksman to the NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) standard.
Successful delegates will be issued with a relevant NPORS Operators Card which is valid for 5 years.
All personnel required to operate as a Vehicle Banksman. The duration of the training course depends on the experience and number of delegates, and the ratio of delegates / machines per Instructor. It is recommended that all delegates complete the NPORS specific health and safety test. All delegates will undertake the NPORS assessment and on successful completion will be issued with a relevant NPORS Operators Card which is valid for 5 years. All delegates must bring photo identification, this can include a valid Passport or Driving Licence. To book this course, or for further information, contact us. What does the NPORS vehicle banksman course cover?
The course covers directing reversing vehicles and controlling site traffic to the NPORS standard, and prepares delegates for the NPORS health and safety test and assessment. Photo identification is required on the day.
Can the course be run at our own site?
Yes. Training can take place at your own premises provided the facilities meet the NPORS test criteria. Otherwise the course runs at our approved test centre in Co. Offaly.
