The NPORS Industrial Counterbalance Forklift Truck Training Course is designed to equip delegates with the essential knowledge and practical skills necessary for operating an industrial counterbalance forklift truck, in accordance with NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) standards.
Certification:
Successful delegates will receive an NPORS Operators Card, valid for 5 years.

- Conduct thorough pre-shift inspections.
- Load and unload vehicles and static racking effectively.

- Understanding the components and main types of lift trucks.
- Refuelling systems and maintenance procedures, including coolant, fuel, and lubrication systems.
- Emergency controls and protocols.
- Safe driving techniques on and off ramps.
- Operator’s safety code and best practices.
- Handling loaded and unloaded pallets, including difficult-shaped loads.
- NPORS assessment, which includes both theory and practical elements.
Course Duration:

- The ratio of delegates to machines per instructor.
Assessment and Certification:
All delegates will undertake the NPORS assessment, encompassing both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Upon successful completion, participants will be issued an NPORS Operators Card, valid for 5 years. It is also recommended that all delegates complete the NPORS-specific health and safety test.
