Mobile Access Towers Course
The SOLAS CSCS Mobile Access Towers Course is designed for individuals working in the Republic of Ireland who wish to gain knowledge and skills in the safe use of mobile access towers.
Course Objectives
To equip delegates with the essential knowledge needed to use, inspect, and store aluminium scaffold towers efficiently and safely.
Course Content Includes:
- Introduction to SOLAS CSCS
- Health & Safety Requirements
- Hazard Identification
- Stability of Mobile Access Towers
- Functionality and Component Checks Prior to Use
- Practical Erection, Dismantling, and Inspection of Mobile Access Towers
- Written and Practical Assessment
On-site training can also be arranged at your premises throughout the Republic of Ireland, subject to minimum participant requirements. A suitable room is necessary for the theory portion of the course, and mobile access towers must be provided for practical training. The manufacturer’s instruction manual must also be available during the session.
Trainee Requirements
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be at least 16 years of age.
PPE Requirements
Trainees must provide and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including:
- Helmet
- Safety Boots
- Hi-Visibility Vest
