Course Objectives & Description

The Sit-Astride All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs), commonly known as quad bikes, are versatile machines capable of handling various attachments, such as trailers, sprayers, and spreaders. Their adaptability makes them popular in agricultural, forestry, and leisure industries.

However, this popularity brings potential risks; without proper training, serious accidents can and do occur. Our course is designed specifically for learners with little to no experience in ATV riding.

Certification:

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a Certificate of Training for Sit-Astride ATVs, covering operation with loads and trailed equipment.

Course Structure:

The training consists of a balanced mix of theory and practical sessions:

  • Health and Safety: Begin with an in-depth overview of key health and safety issues associated with ATV operation.
  • Route Planning: Learn effective route planning techniques to maximize safety and efficiency.
