CSCS Mobile Crane Training

The CSCS Mobile Crane Training course provides participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to operate mobile cranes safely and effectively. Covering essential topics such as crane types, safety regulations, load handling, and inspection procedures, this course combines theoretical instruction with practical training. Participants will gain hands-on experience in operating mobile cranes, ensuring they are equipped to handle various lifting tasks confidently. Upon successful completion, participants receive CSCS certification, demonstrating their competency and compliance with industry standards in crane operation.

  • Introduction
  • Construction Site Safety Awareness
  • Health and Safety Legislation
  • Safe operation and control of a mobile crane
  • Lifting and placing various loads
  • Inspection and maintenance of mobile cranes under construction site conditions
  • Hand signals and communication
  • Knowledge and safe use of different types of lifting gear
  • Adjusting crane configuration to suit altered jib lengths

Course Requirements

To attend the course, you need:

  1. A valid Safe Pass Card
  2. To be at least 18 years old.
  3. To bring a passport-sized photo on the day of the course.
  4. To bring a valid photo ID (Passport or Driving License).
  5. A valid PPS number.
  6. A minimum 6 months experience on a continuous basis which must be confirmed in writing and signed by the employer and applicant.
